Size guide

Pretty is nothing without the fit.

Every pair runs UK 3 to 7. Here's exactly what that is in EU, in US women's, and in plain centimetres — plus how to measure when the label and your foot disagree. Knits are stretchy and a little forgiving, but they fit best when you start from the right number.

The conversion chart

Approximate — sizing systems never agree to the millimetre. When in doubt, trust the centimetres over the shoe-box number.

Foot length is the heel-to-longest-toe measurement, not your shoe.

How to measure your foot

Thirty seconds, one sheet of paper, and you never guess again.

  1. 01

    Stand on paper

Late evening, bare foot, weight on it. Put a sheet of A4 against a wall and press your heel to the wall.

  2. 02

    Mark heel to toe

Mark the tip of your longest toe — not always the big one. Do both feet; they're rarely identical twins.

  3. 03

    Measure in cm

Measure heel to mark in centimetres and read it off the chart. Bigger foot wins. Round up if you land between two numbers.

Between sizes?

Good news: sheer and stretch knits are built to flex, so a half-step either way still feels right. The direction you round is a styling call, not a survival one.

Which way to round

Size down for the ballet-flat look. A snugger pair smooths flat against the foot, no slack at the toe — the clean line you want peeking out of a loafer or Mary Jane.

Size up for crew-and-knee comfort. More give at the cuff and the leg, nothing digging in over a long day. The right move for taller heights and anyone who hates a tight band.

Sheer styles read smaller and tear if forced — for those, round up rather than down.

How each height fits

Ankle

Sits just above the shoe line. Cut a touch short on purpose — meant to peek, not climb. True to your measured size.

Crew

Lands mid-calf. The forgiving one — ribbing stretches to your leg. Size up only if you live between two sizes and like room.

Knee

Stops just under the knee. Calf width matters more than foot length here; the stretch knit handles most legs, but the longer the sock the more snug it reads at the top.

Trouser

Our tallest, thinnest knit, built to disappear under tailoring. Sized to stay up without a bite. Don't size down or they'll slip at the heel.
